Our multinational manufacturing company are seeking a skilled Project Engineer working at their site in Essex. This is a full time permanent role.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer, in Essex. The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility for developing project concepts, costs, to present projects for approval and take through to site installation and implementation.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Engineer, the main duties of this role will include:

Design, costing, installation & implementation of all aspects of project work
Ensure all new installations comply with requirements of H&S legislation, IPPC permits, HACCP, GMP etc.
Maintain safety/reliability of existing equipment during project implementation.
Develop functional and technical specifications for all elements of project work.
Identify opportunities for improved performance and/or savings
Maintain projects in budget and on time.
Produce all necessary documentation for commissioning, training, maintenance and maintain all records required by legislation, policies etc.
Plan personal work load and agreed priorities
Act as adviser to operations and maintenance
Coordinate and supervise installation contractors on site

The Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Educated to Bachelor level preferably in Chemical or Process Engineering or similar discipline with a strong affinity to the process industry or the proven ability to work at that level
5+ years experience in Project management
Knowledge of Maximo and Impact required
Microsoft Project desirable & proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Price / Salary: £47000/annum
