A General Foreman is required to join a main contractor that specialises in civil engineering schemes across the East Anglian area.

The majority of there projects are based in Essex & Cambridgeshire and range from Structures, Roads & Flood Alleviation schemes.

The first project is in Bishops Stortford.

Main Duties:

·Direct the work of operatives and sub-contractors

·Ensure environmental systems are implemented satisfactorily

·Order materials and plant to achieve programmes

·Keep daily records of work carried out

·Ensure that works proceed in accordance with site programmes

·Ensure all plant on site is suitable for the task and conforms to current legislation

·Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies

Experience and qualifications including:

First Aid at Work, CSCS, SMSTS. NRSWA would also be desirable.
