Fabric Engineer / Handy Person - Sunbury, SW London - Up to £12 per Hour - Static - 8am to 5pm

I am currently recruiting for a maintenance handy person / fabric engineer to join a large maintenance company. You will be based at one of their flagship commercial buildings based in Sunbury on Thames.

You will be working within a small team of engineers and will be responsible for looking after the all the fabric work and general building maintenance across the entire building.

Your duties will include but not limited to -

* Lighting - lamp changes
* Emergency light testing
* AHUs/FCUs maintenance
* Water testing
* Plumbing
* Carpentry
* Painting and decorating
* Fire Alarms testing

You will be working on a Monday to Friday basis covering the hours of 8am to 5pm (there may be some out of hours work required.)

This role is to start on a temporary basis initially however, if you show a good attitude and hard work you may have the opportunity to go permanent.

Requirements

* An all round knowledge of most trades is essential (i.e. basic electrical, plumbing, painting & decorating, tiling, carpentry etc)
* A proven track record ideally within the commercial maintenance
* Excellent customer service / communication skills
* Available to start at short notice
