A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for an experienced Structural Engineer to become an important part of a highly specialist Civil and Structural Engineering based in Manchester. Our client boasts an impressive portfolio with projects covering the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, amongst others, and are actively looking to recruit a new Structural Engineer to the team to play a leading part in the delivery of a diverse range of building structures projects from inception to completion. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 for this role, in addition to offering a wide range of benefits and a fantastic opportunity for career progression.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will:

* Hold a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Be working towards the completion of Chartership
* Possess experience of working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures
* Possess an excellent understanding of British Codes of Practice and Eurocodes
* Possess a good understanding of AutoCAD
* Experience with TEKLA is beneficial though not essential

Key responsibility of this Structural Engineer role include:

* Play a leading part in the delivery of a range of Building Structures projects from inception to completion
* Attend site projects as required
* Liaise closely with valued clients
* Receive full support to the completion of Chartership
* Assist in bid proposals
* Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
