Java Developer - TDD - Permanent - Leeds - £50k

A leading Software House who builds and develop large Real Time Systems are looking to grow their development squads with additional Java Developers in the new development office.

The key knowledge and experience needed by the all candidates is a solid background in TDD (Test Driven Development) as this is used for through all projects.

Key Responsibilities
Work with your peers in the business to design, develop, deliver and support products.
Develop best practices in your team, leading by example.
Use your experience to tailor your team's Agile practices to fit your approach.
Be the owner of your work, while being open to changes from other teams.
Your software will be designed with testing in mind.
Communicate your team's knowledge and experiences of successes and failures to our other teams.

Essential Skills
TDD Test Driven Development experience absolutely essential
Mentor Agile principles, pair programming, CI, & Scrum
Be a driving force behind our Agile engineering culture
Be fanatical about OO development and design patterns
Be experienced in working in Scrum teams, but not a slave to the practices
Be passionate about testing
Confident tackling technical debt
Excellent in Oral and written English communication
Desirable Skills
Have implemented large scale automated end to end testing
Experience using Angular
Building software products for external customers

Java, Spring, CQRS, JavaScript, event sourcing
