Our client is a well respected Civil Engineering company. Due to the level of workload they are seeking an additional Project Planner. The role will involve working on Civils Infrastructure and Utility Projects throughout Central London and Mainland Europe.

Key Essentials:

* You will be responsible for working independently in the planning function on Civils Infrastructure and Utility projects. The role will involve the production, updating and monitoring of programmes using Asta Power Project

* Coordination of input into the programme from the Construction team and taking the "lead" on programme development

* Ensuring the production of up to date programmes throughout the duration of projects

* Reviewing Construction progress with input from the project team and producing reports as necessary

* Highlight areas of concern with regard to construction progress and review mitigation measures with the Project team; including compensation events, the cause and effect that this will have

* Assist Project Managers as directed with planning related matters and attend meetings as required with project teams and clients

* Carry out site visits to help with the collation of progress information and production of progress reporting as required

* Evaluation of tender documents in order to build detailed tender programmes specifying time and resource requirements

* Liaise with members of the commercial team during the tender process as required and coordinate their input into planning matters

Requirements:

* You should ideally be qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering with previous site operational experience

* You should have good knowledge in the use of Asta Power Project / MS Project and be competent with planning software with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

* You should be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical application of planning in the Civil Engineering / Utilities Industry. Operational candidates looking to move into a planning role will be considered

* This is an excellent position that offers a salary of up to £65k + Package
