This exciting Secondary Science / Physics Teacher position available for a full-time, long term (with a view to becoming permanent) position beginning in January 2018 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable Ofsted graded 'Good' school in the St Helens area.

This Science / Physics Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 (general science) and Key Stage 4/5 (physics) class groups. You will be required to plan engaging lessons that challenge students of all abilities. All students should be given the best opportunity to make good progress through differentiated learning objectives, support materials and high end questioning that stretches understanding. To meet the needs of the new curriculum tasks should be planned that incorporate real life problem solving.

Catering for over 1,400 students this large secondary school ensures students are happy, ambitious and thrive in the learning community that has been nurtured. Through high expectations and exemplary standards of behaviour students are inspired to develop confidence and succeed in all areas of life.

To join the QT team and be successful in this Science / Physics Teacher position you will:
* Hold QTS or equivalent qualifications that allow you to be placed in schools
* Have effective classroom management
* Build and develop professional relationships with both school staff and students
