Lloyd Recruitment Services, the East Grinstead branch are working with a well-established company who looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator to join their busy team in East Sussex. You will receive goods in, input data, stock check. Load and unload products onto vehicles, assign goods to correct warehouse locations. You will perform various warehouse activities you would expect to find in a warehouse environment.

Salary is up to £18k + Monthly performance bonus
40 hour working week Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm however please note flexibility is a must for this role as the hours of work vary according to the needs of the business.

Responsibilities
Process, select and ship orders accurately
Organise stocks and maintain stock levels
Inspect products for defects and damages
Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
Receive, unload and place incoming stock items appropriately
Check, verify and fill customer shipment sheets
Operating the Forklift, Counter Balance Forklift and Pallet Truck
Safe loading / unloading of containers and deliveries
Operating production and manufacturing machinery
Compliance with Health & safety regulations

Requirements
Proven warehouse experience
Forklift operators current licence or recent experience
Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system (use of scanners)
Team player with organisational skills
Ability to lift or move heavy products
Must be a car driver due to location
