MMP Consultancy are pleased to be working closely with one of the South East's largest housing providers, who are currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their Planned Works team, delivering a variety of projects on a permanent basis.

Responsible for the budgetary management and delivery of numerous large scale projects, the successful candidate will deliver, and therefore must have experience in dealing with:

- Kitchen and bathrooms

- Roof renewals

- Windows and doors

- Internal / external refurbishments

- Communal areas

- Decent homes schemes

In order to be considered for the post, candidates must have experience delivering / managing:

- Large scale budgets, providing timely reports to senior management.

- The works of various contractors / sub-contractors providing technical assessment to ensure works are delivered to specification and within time scale.

- Technical advice from specification to completion stage incuding defect rectification.

- Liaison with tenants, leaseholders and customers to ensure minimal disruption and that all parties remain fully informed throughout the works period.

Candidates must have experience within a social housing environment to be considered for the post and hold a relevant Building Surveying / Technical degree as well as being a driver with access to their own car.
