Laboratory Test Technician - Temporary role initially for Duration: 5 months (full time)

setup of test equipment and rigs
maintenance and rebuild of test engines
installation and monitoring of sensors
running of tests and gathering test data

You will be Test cryogenic engines
There will be training period of up to 1 month in Croydon

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be a motivated team player with strong practical skills and meet the following criteria:
Ability to organise and manage own work load and demonstrate flexibility in terms of work practices/requirements
Ability to work under minimal supervision but function as part of a team
Knowledge of current relevant H&S practices
Computer literacy including MSExcel

Experience of any of the following activities is also beneficial:
Safe operation of cryogenic or high pressure systems
Liquid nitrogen handling
Pressure tests
Engine test operations
General test rig design and construction
Experience of computerised test, data acquisition and diagnostic systems

Based in Birmingham after the training period
