Transactional Sales Manager- Permanent- Yeovil - £55,000 plus benefits
Excipion's leading client are looking for a TSM to drive the day to day supervisory management of the sales team at Yeovil and the satellite regional offices.
Duties of the Transactional Sales Manager:
* Define Strategic goals and objectives working with the Managing Director to ensure that the sales goals align with the company's business goals
* Fully develop the Sales Talent review the individuals within the sales team and develop for each a development programme that maximises their sales skills
* Communicate an effective Sales Message working with the marketing department and using information from customers, to develop a compelling sales message that in turn drives engagement and revenue
* Create effective People Management process and structure review performance targets with the team members and ensure they are met
* Embed a practical and efficient Sales Process manage the customer journey to ensure that it ensures customers' demands are met accurately, on time and in full
* Incentivize and motivate the team develop and manage a system of rewards and activities that engage the sales team to deliver enhanced performance
* Create innovative sales tools working with the marketing department to develop sales promotional tools that are effective in maximising client engagement during sales presentations
* Create compensation plans that motivate work with the team to implement rewards and compensation plans that drives the behaviours that leads to business growth
* Review market opportunities for growth monitor the business environment in the UK and internationally to assess opportunities and threats to the business and advise the Board in a timely and regular manner.
* Competitive review - Provide market feedback to the Board regarding competitive offerings and activities
Requirements of the role
* Demonstrable ability to generate sales revenue in a competitive and fast-moving environment
* Self-starter, passionate about winning new business within the UK and internationally
* Proven experience in managing the day to day sales team activities and make changes where needed
* Ability to manage the costs incurred by the sales team and make changes if and when needed to keep within agreed budget
* Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of highly targeted leads
* Demonstrable ability to communicate an effective sales message to the target audience and other interested stake holders
