We have a fantastic opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker in Cheltenham.
You will be working in a 14 bed home for adults with complex needs including offending backgrounds, mental health diagnoses, learning disabilities, substance misuse and challenging behaviours. The home is part of a Christian charity and practices with a Christ- centred and person-centred ethos.
As Waking Night Support Worker you will support service users throughout the night, and will work alongside sleep-in staff. Duties will include:
Engaging in evening activities with service users, such as watching films and playing snooker
Personal care / prompting
Medication
Light housework
Health and safety and admin responsibilities
Preparations for the next day
Support with evening and morning routines
Shifts run from 8.30pm - 8.30am, on a 24 or 36 hour contract. Rota`s can be flexible, however some weekend working may be required.
Pay rate for this role is £8.28 per hour / £17,233 per annum pro rata (based on 40 hours).
Benefits including generous annual leave (20 days + Bank Holidays in Year 1, rising to 25 days in Year 2, and 30 days from Year 3 onwards) and free on site parking.

You do not need to be of Christian faith (or any faith) however you must be happy to work within a Christian ethos.
