Maintenance Technician

Double Days

Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Technician is required for a manufacturer in Birmingham. The role would suit you if you have a background in maintenance and have experience maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment within a production environment.

Role:
ongoing maintenance within the Plant Engineering department
analysing malfunctioning equipment and systems
implementation and enforcement of procedures

Carrying out periodic preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment

Regularly check quality of instrumentation

Provide technical advice in troubleshooting and problem solving situations

Experience:

Completion of Advanced Apprenticeship, HNC in Mechanical / Electrical or related discipline

IET BS7671 17th edition

Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

Working knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatics preferred

Familiar with ISO 9000, knowledge of ISO 14000 would be advantageous

Shift:

39 hour week double days

5.00am - 1.30pm

1.30pm - 9.30pm

Premium for nights 50% and double days 20%

Overtime Available
