EC&I Systems Design Engineer

Circa £35p/h - £40p/h DOE

ATA Recruitment are a highly recognised, established Engineering recruiter that operate Nationwide.

I am recruiting for a major key client in Yorkshire located ideally to the A1 and M62 motorway, who specialise in design, manufacture and installation of high end technology, materials handling, and robotic applications. They are now recruiting for an EC&I Systems Design Engineer for at least 12 months.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

Design briefs, software system specifications and documentation

Scheme design generation, functional calcs, and design risk assessments

*
Block cable diagrams with detail function calculations

*
Wiring single line diagrams, PLC and software code, module/integration tests and FATs

*
Client meetings, commissioning activities and general project technical support and problem solving

*
A team player, a strong communicator at all levels, who strives for excellence

A background in Siemens, Allen Bradley/ Rockwell, PLC and HMI would be highly desirable. You will ideally be qualified to degree/HND/HNC in electrical engineering or similar.
