The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

I am currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child that has Autism and severe behavioural problems. You will be required to support the child throughout the day, help to keep him immersed in the learning experience and kerb all signs of situations before they arise, due to the specific needs of this child they are looking for someone who is trained in physical intervention.

The School - SEN Teaching Assistant

Based in the London Borough of Haringey, this school helps support those with severe and complex learning difficulties aged between 4 - 11. It is a brand new, state of the art facility with lots of specialist resources to suit the needs of the children such as multisensory soft play room, sensory gardens and hydrotherapy pools. Their main aim is to give their students the best possible resources to grow personally, socially and academically to be the best that they can be.
