I have a fantastic opportunity for a focused and hardworking person for a high-profile client based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will work as Production Support in their Re-Grind Department.

The company are thriving within the aerospace engineering marketplace and are increasing their workforce to coincide with winning new business.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

* Receive the incoming tools for regrind, record any shortfall, confirm tools are within a re-grindable spec (use of micrometer / inspection equipment), confirm with the delivery documentation and record any scrap numbers
* Movement of scrap components to relevant bins/location for ongoing processing
* Store incoming tools until batch size attained in Kardex system
* Produce job cards, categorise, count the batch size
* Prioritise tools for required delivery dates
* Maintain excellent house-keeping (clean and tidy) within the Regrind area
* Responsible for etching tools with the relevant number/code to ensure traceability and identification prior to placing on to trays/racks into production. First line maintenance of the etching machine
* Provide support to the production managers as and when required (to include Packing / Despatch, Goods Receipt, Stock Control, Helicheck) and provide support to the company with ad-hoc projects/workloads
* To follow/adhere to H&S and Environmental legislation and adhere to company rules, regulations & standards at all times
* Customer enquiry response times
* On time delivery to customer
* Minimise lead time from regrind receipt to release to the shop floor

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

* Methodical approach
* Good planning, organisational and administration skills
* Good level of IT (ERP, Microsoft office, email, access)
* Product knowledge, Manufacturing / Production background
* Understand technical drawings & good use of measuring equipment
* H & S and manual handling
