MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
MACCLESFIELD
£30, 000 - £35, 000PA

Our client is a market leader within their sector that seeking to expand their small but dedicated Finance Team.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and forecast effectively the daily and monthly cash flow
Processing of sales /customer invoices and management of sales ledger including banking of all receipts
Processing of Purchase invoices and management of purchase ledger including payments of all expenses
Processing of stock new additions and management of payments made via electronic transfers
Weekly/ Monthly bank reconciliation
Monthly debtors and creditors reconciliation
Sales and credit control including recovery of bad debts when required
Responsible for monthly salaries and pensions monitoring including processing
Monitoring of income and expenditure on the internal schemes
Maintain existing and implement financial policies and procedures for example, petty cash, cheque requests and input onto relevant accounts programmes
Authorising and processing of payments and the setting of direct debits
Prepare timely and accurately monthly management accounts and investigation of variances
Vat returns completion and submission
Maintain monitoring and review of capital expenditure and that all controls and regarding requests and authorisation levels
Produce a Balance sheet on a monthly basis with a summary on the organisations financial position and present to the Directors
Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
Identify support and implement system process improvements
Management of the finance/ accounts department
Responsible for month end shut down and year end controls
Assist to Prepare year end accounts
Assist the Directors with the development of a business and long term financial strategy
Maintaining a fixed asset register

Requirements
Proven work history
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
High attention to detail and accuracy
Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Qualifications and Skills
Recognised accountancy qualifications (ACCA)

Price / Salary: £30000 - £35000/annum
