The role as a Carpenter / Joiner you will be working within a marine capacity on the outskirts of Southampton. This is a permanent role working 7am 3.15pm with regular overtime available. You will enjoy benefits including free parking, overtime at time and a half, 20 days holiday plus 1 extra day per year worked (up to maximum of 25 days).

The company is a well-established and well recognised marine manufacturer and a recent acquisition of a major competitor has led to a substantial workload for the foreseeable future.

As the Carpenter / Joiner your responsibilities will include:

- Bench joinery of internal furniture
- Interior fit-outs of luxury yachts including bedrooms, kitchens, stairs, bathrooms and doors
- Working with value veneer and solid wood components
- Working to drawings and very tight tolerances

The successful Carpenter / Joiner will have the following skills and experiences:

- Have worked within a bench joiner, carpentry, kitchen fitter, shop fitter, cabinet maker or equivalent role
- Experience within a production or fit out role, ideally marine but not essential
- Ideally qualified to NVQ level or equivalent

In return, the Carpenter will receive a PAYE pay rate of £12.00 - £13.20 per hour (higher end achievable after probationary period) Self Employed pay rate up to £16.00 per hour.
