My client is a Big Data Software start up with on exciting projects in industries like - Government, Media, Technology and Finance. The Specialise in collecting, integrating, storing, activating, and operationalising data.

We are looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer who has considerable experience in automation and productionisation of data science products, machine learning implementations, predictive models and real-time trigger based actioning.

The Role
* Design, build and maintain large scale systems to productionise data science products
* Gather and process raw data at scale - writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries, writing applications
* Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis, utilizing custom applications and modern ELT/ETL
* Understanding data science algorithmic design and their optimisation for large scale deployment

Requirements
* Design, build, scale large scale systems
* Real-timedata processing frameworks
* Software deployment and development
* Python
* Understanding of the multiple types of distributed data stores and theirs trade offs
