I am working with a mainstream secondary school based in Harrow that is recruiting for a Geography Teacher for a January 2018 start.

The ideal candidate will be PGCE / QTS qualified with experience teaching Geography to KS3 & KS4. The role will continue on a long term basis until the end of the term with the possiblity of going on until the end of the academic year.

You will be required to plan, mark and assess all work completed by all students. You will be patient and supportive with strong communication skills, and be required to build a good relationship with your students to nurture their academic and personal development

You will have an enthusiastic approach to teaching, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment for your students, to inspire them and get the most out of their education

You must be a passionate teacher, dedicated to improving students knowledge of Geography and raising attainment levels whilst utilising your teaching techniques.

With excellent knowledge of Geography, you may be required to run intervention sessions for those students that need additional support with Geography, and may also attend school trips.
