Working under the strategy vision of the Group Marketing Director, your role will be to deliver creative and inventive marketing campaigns on behalf of one of their business units. The role arises in a rapidly expanding business who have a long, successful history spanning over 120 years and are a market leader in their field.

The successful candidate will be a commercially astute marketer who has exceptional attention to detail and the ability to take the lead in creating and delivering flawless campaigns to both existing and new business targets.

The successful candidate will champion the customer and the brands in everything they do and be a strong communicator and negotiator. There are opportunities to grow and see longer term career progression over time. This role will be working as part of a small but hugely passionate team with the support of a small number of specialist external agencies.

Closely supported by the Group Marketing Manager there is scope for personal development in this role and for you to work autonomously to deliver on the business unit's growth strategy.

As a Marketing Coordinator your role will include;

* Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns to promote the company and its brands to our existing customers
* Using internal and external data to drive insightful recommendations to the Marketing Director for tactical sales campaigns
* Writing and proofreading copy for online and offline purposes and managing the production of marketing materials
* Delivering Mail Chimp campaigns to the agreed schedule
* Networking with relevant industry bodies
* Being the internal and external brand champion and ensure everything is delivered within the brand guidelines
* Creating monthly newsletters for the customer database, working across the business and with external agency to generate content
* Maintaining and update the website will all relevant news and press coverage
* Owning the quarterly Group internal newsletter
* Managing the flawless execution of high visibility sponsorship events and maximise coverage
* Supporting the Marketing Director on specific Group projects where necessary

The ideal Marketing Coordinator must;

* Have a background in B2B Marketing with a proven track record with strong project management / organisational skills
* Have the ability to use spreadsheets, analyse data and spot trends
* Understand customer segmentation
* Have exceptional attention to detail
* Be confident, diplomatic and tenacious with strong commercial awareness
* Be comfortable working independently on a different site to your line manager
* Have a sound working knowledge of Photo Shop & Mail Chimp
