I am currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a well-established fresh produce company. Their mission is to be the best in all that they do, ensuring the best products and services to customers, building relationships of trust with suppliers and growing a better future for all of their team members.

Job Purpose

* Communicating the company's technical expectations to external vendors and suppliers.
* Manage and develop the QA and technical team alongside the Technical Director.
* Communicating company technical legislation to the wider business, ensuring policies are adhered to.
* Responsibility for managing quality, food safety and legality.
* Auditing 3rd party vendors.
* Setting KPIs and monitoring for external suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Team leadership qualities and personal development skills.
* Initiative, self-motivated, well organized and assertive.
* Logical approach, excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
* Report writing and procedural writing skills.
* Able to demonstrate a good record of achievement.
* HACCP Level 3.
* Internal Auditor.
* Experience at managerial level in a fresh produce company.

Price / Salary: £40000 - £50000/annum
