We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Assembly Inspector to join a well-established electronic manufacturer.

As part of the Inspection team, you will work directly with Quality Engineers, Quality Control Inspectors, Manufacturing Engineers and Project Management in a collaborative working environment.

Electronics Inspector Requirements:

* Inspect first off surface mount assemblies after re-flow to the company solder joint criteria, to ensure the integrity of the product batch
* AOI inspection experience
* Visually inspect electronic assemblies to the documentation provided, including company or customer specific workmanship standards
* The electronics inspection of surface mount devices and through hole (conventional) devices for correct orientation, value, defects and solder joint integrity
* The electronics inspection of modifications to electronic assemblies including wire links, PCB track cuts etc
* The electronics inspection of printed circuit boards for defects
* Completion of inspection records as required by company procedures, including accurate identification of any defects, to ensure that the necessary rework is undertaken
* The reporting of any defect trends spotted to management to instigate actions to prevent future re-occurrence
* The inspection of electronic assemblies after rework, to ensure that the necessary actions have been taken to rectify the defects identified on inspection records

Electronics Inspector Responsibilities:

* To be able to work to drawings and other instructions provided, highlighting any inaccuracies
* Maintain good ESD practices with regards to handling of electronic assemblies and static sensitive devices
* Ensure working area is tidy and practice good housekeeping
* Ability to visually identify and compare electronic components to the assembly documentation provided
* Maintain good health & safety practices
* Demonstrate the ability to work as a team with others
* To work and maintain records in accordance with the company's approval to ISO 9000 Standards

Benefits: PAYE)

Price / Salary: £10.00 - £13.00/hour (PAYE)
