Cooper Lomaz have an immediate vacancy for a Bookkeeper to join our established and highly reputable Accountancy Firm based in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an outsourced accounts function that delivers a variety of accounting tasks for a diverse client portfolio. Within the role, the workload and day to day will vary to meet the clients needs and could see the successful candidate spend regular time focussing on a select number of businesses.

Key responsibilities could include:
- Reconcile general ledgers and resolve any accounting queries for both end clients and internal stakeholders
- Journals, Accruals, and Prepayments for a variety of businesses
- Manual bookkeeping including preparation of trial balance
- Ad hoc weekly reporting for clients

The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified and will have spent time working in an Accountancy Practice or another professional services firm. Experience using Sage is essential, ideally Sage 50 and candidates will also ned to demonstrate a proven background in producing accounts to trial balance. You will need to be confident in approach and have strong communication skills to work closely with senior management both internally and externally

Price / Salary: £25000 - £30000/annum
