Experienced Plant Inspection and Integrity Engineer required for our client based in Grangemouth on permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the reliability and availability of all vessels, tank and pipelines and related pressure safety relief devices on site.
Apply knowledge and experience of Risk assessment procedures
Follow WSE and ensure compliance and conformity of regulations, inspection periodicity's and dues dates of inspection for all equipment.
Plan all inspections in a timely manner and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Review written instructions and inspections reports and record information on electric management systems and asset integrity folders.
Manage and coordinate with external service providers for the provision of NDT and vessel repair/replacement services.
Management of all LOLER equipment on site;must manage and record all information relating to the inspection, repair and replacement of lifting equipment and accessories.
Responsible for the management and regulatory compliance of all LEV systems on site, by planning and coordinating inspection, repair and test activities between external service providers and internal departments.
Responsible for the management of the flexible hose register on site, managing and witnessing the inspecting and testing of flexible hoses.
Key skills knowledge & Experience:
Electronic Management Systems - SAP,ANTEA, PRIME, EXCEL, WORD
Interpreting engineering drawings, piping, isometrics, P&IDs, process flow diagrams
Legislation regulations and codes of practice, PSSR, PER, PED, PUWER, LOLER, LEV, COMAH
PSSR weld and repair procedures
Material weld failure mechanisms
NTD Techniques and procedures such as DP,UT, MPI, RT and Hydraulic pressure testing techniques
Qualifications/Experience:
HNC/HND in relevant mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with in a top tier COMAH Petro-chemical site.
CSWIP or UKAS accreditation or with PCN Cert in NDT preferred
