Desktop Developer Learn Web & Cool Tech (Highly flexible working hours)
Avanti are currently recruiting for a Desktop Developer who is willing and keen to move into web development (C# ASP.NET MVC) and learn other cool technologies such as Azure.
The company is a medium sized software house based in Grimsby. The client offer on-site parking and is quite easily commutable via public transport.
Youll main focus will likely be around the older desktop stuff, looking at the code base and seeing where enhancements can be made. The tech you work on will depend heavily on the client needs at the time but it could be a case of you starting and straight away being trained up on C# ASP.NET MVC, Azure etc. They follow Agile practices (TDD) and are happy to train people in this methodology.
To be considered for this role your CV should demonstrate a combination of the below:
C#
Winforms/ WPF/ ASP.NET (Not essential)
SQL
It would be beneficial if you had an experience with MVC/ TDD/ Azure but this isnt essential.
