Central is currently recruiting for a Waking Night Support Assistants to work in a new service located in Bedford.

The service provides purpose-built Hostel Accommodation support homeless individuals with a variety of complex needs including Mental Health and Substance Misuse issues, with the aim to move them on to independent living.

The successful candidate will be required to work 3 shifts per week, working across Monday Sunday on a rota basis. Shifts are 12 hours per night, starting between 8 9PM. Cover is required for an ongoing period, however rotas are created for three month periods. Workers must be able to transfer to casual contract status if appointed.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing a waking presence ensuring that residents are safe, secure and supported and available to residents at all times where needed and that scheduled tasks are completed to a high standard. You will also need to ensure the Project is secure by regular patrols throughout the night, monitoring of external doors and access to and from the building.

To apply for this role, you must have experience with working with clients with very high complex needs, previous experience of completing waking night shifts and the ability to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week

Price / Salary: £8.20/hour
