As a Commercial Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that you provide commercial and financial support to all key accounts. To provide commercial support to the Account lead in respect of business opportunities, renewals and existing business. To provide a robust financial control and reporting environment. Lead a finance team.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include;
Challenge & maximise EBIT & EAC performance of existing business, engaging with contract management to identify, deliver & monitor improvement plans
Analysis of weekly / period variances against Company & Customer targets, supporting action plans to ensure targets are achieved.
Ensure account teams understand the contractual agreements and support the mitigation of risks & successful delivery of opportunities.
Support account teams in developing IBPs and customer account plans
Manage customer relationships and attend customer meetings.
Appraisal of risks and rewards associated with contract renewals / business development opportunities.
Planning and management of Company & Customer budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements.
Ensure financial control and compliance processes are maintained in line with Company requirements.
Providing leadership to a finance team in a multi-site / multi-contract environment, providing succession and development planning and continuously improving the skills and knowledge of the team.
Continuous review and improvement of financial and commercial processes
Be an active member of the Consumer finance team, promoting and sharing best practices.
Ensure strong cost controls are maintained and cost / profit drivers are fully understood by accounts teams.
Cost modelling & cost / benefit analysis to support Company / Client initiatives.
Ensure account teams have complete understanding of contractual agreements and provide support to ensure the company meets its obligations, mitigates risks and delivers on any opportunities.
Ensure operations and finance teams understand Company & Customer targets / KPIs, ensuring appropriate processes and reporting are in place to support account teams.
Provide variance analysis reporting on key performance drivers across all contracts and support account teams in developing and implementing improvement plans.
Track and validate financial performance of PI & local PIP initiatives
Proactive management of contract balance sheets to ensure the best 'Asset Charge' / 'Return on BOA' achieved.
Developing / reviewing costings for renewals / new business opportunities
Support BCA process to ensure risk / reward profile is appraised for new business / renewals / capex & lease projects and to ensure timely BCA approval is gained.
Presentation of financial information at customer review meetings and management of customer relationships.
Analysis of weekly / period variances against Client & Customer targets, supporting action plans to ensure targets met.

Experience of managing finance in a multi-customer & multi-site finance environment
Experience of open & closed book accounting , customer reviews / presentations
IT / Presentation skills (microsoft office)

Price / Salary: £35000 - £45000/annum
