Our Client is looking for an Operations Team Leader to join their busy team in Gainsborough as soon as possible.

The role;
You will be reporting to the Operations Manager
To take responsibility and lead one of eight shift area teams
Take accountability for five key metric ares for the area/shift: EHS, quality, service, finance & people
To actively participate in the departmental audit process : EHS,GMP,5S
Demonstrate an engaging but challenging leadership style
To deliver pro active area communication via shift huddles
To fundamentally deliver short time frame objectives against each metric through engaging with the area shift team

Required;
IT literate - MS Office and SAP
Good verbal and numerate skills
Excellent communication skills
Results driven, can push self and motivate others to deliver outstanding results
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

Experience;
Manufacturing, ideally FMCG or any other fast paced environment
Lean or Six Sigma knowledge
5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing, production environment with first line management responsibilities would be an advantage
IOSH Managing Safety qualification (desired)
Managing a shift/team previous

In return the client is offering a generous salary of £24,000 - £27,500
Shift pattern of 4 on 4 off rotating days/nights (6am-6pm/6pm-6am)
