Senior Full Stack Developer / Senior Software Developer / Senior Software Engineer - Maidenhead - C# - ASP.NET MVC - HTML - CSS - JavaScript - JavaScript Frameworks - AngularJS - KnockoutJS *******£55K*******

Senior Full Stack Developer is required to join an extremely well established financial service organisation based in Maidenhead. They will be joining their software development team which is formed of 5 developers and 2 QA Testers.

This is very much a Full-Stack role, requiring both front and back-end expertise with a deep understanding of modern software architectures and development techniques. A successful candidate will be a committed and articulate individual, required to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to produce software and web solutions that are of enterprise quality.

Responsibilities:

* Delivery of enterprise-quality software and web solutions on Microsoft Platforms which integrate with a variety of technologies and platforms
* Analysis of business requirements and delivery of solutions within agreed project timescale
* Design of software and web solutions which adhere to in-house architectural principles and industry best-practices
* Following in-house policies and procedures for change governance, testing and release of new and existing software
* Production of technical documentation to support all stages of the Software Development Life-Cycle
* Provide Production/BAU support on deployed software and websites where required
* Reviewing existing systems and processes; generating ideas and proposals for improvements and innovation

Skills Required:

* Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Development and Service Oriented Architectures
* Extensive knowledge of Software Design Patterns and SOLID principles
* Proficient in C# Programming with extensive knowledge of the .NET Framework
* Expertise in Front-end Web Development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JS Frameworks (e.g. Angular.js, Knockout.js, React.js)
* Accomplished in developing Websites and Web Applications using ASP.NET (MVC, Web Forms, Web API)
* Experience building responsive layouts and mobile websites with cross-browser compatibility
* Experience delivering low-latency Web Services and APIs with a solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON and XML
* Experience building scalable and fault-tolerant applications and platforms using message-queues and caching
* Proficient in Database Development on MS SQL Server with extensive knowledge of T-SQL and relational data modelling
* Experienced in developing and maintaining complex data integrations, ETL processes and data pipelines using SSIS
* Strong knowledge and experience of the Software Development Life Cycle and Application Life-Cycle Management
* Experience delivering Software using Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps and Continuous Integration
* Experience working with source control, automated build, deployment tools and package managers (TFS, Git, NuGet, NPM, Gulp)
* Experienced in deploying and supporting multi-tiered applications onto MS Windows Server environments
* A solid understanding of Web Security and OWASP Principles
* Able to write clean unit-testable code (TDD) and be a strong advocate of software craftsmanship.

Experience:

* 7+ Years Software and Web Development experience in a commercial environment
* 3+ Years Software and Web Development experience in Financial, Insurance or other Customer Services Industries
