Our central Telford based client is looking to add an electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance engineer to their expanding team.

The successful applicant will have previous experience within electrically biased facilities maintenance and will have a flexible attitude towards the demands of the role. You must be able to work on your own initiative and be capable of problem solving on a day to day basis. You will be working closely with production management to ensure productivity is not disrupted and down time kept to a minimum. You will be encouraged to participate in continuous improvement ideas and techniques to aide productivity levels.

Duties will include:
Electrically baised production maintenance
Facilities maintenance
TPM/PPM
Emergency breakdowns on all plant and machinery
Prioritising workload
Motor, 3 Phase & 450/240V work
General repair and maintenance of presses and tooling, fabrications/welding and sensors.
Confident with additional facilities such as plumbing and lighting.
Solid level of health and safety awareness and compliance

Qualifications in a relevant field are desirable but not essential as a proven background and a solid level of experience are more important. Working on a day shift, all work must be carried out inline with current regulations and requirements within the business.

Price / Salary: £25000 - £30000/annum
