Carpenter looking to move to management role needed for fit out contractor in Cambridge paying up to £35k+ van

Your new company

Covering predominately projects in fit out and refurbishment they have a strong client portfolio that includes projects completed in the retail, commercial and leisure sectors. With projects ranging from £20k up to circa £1m they complete fast-track projects with a turnaround of anything from 2 weeks up to around 40 weeks on more complex projects.

Your new role

Assisting the Contract Manager you will be doing a mix of working on the tools and carrying out a number of duties including:

* Site set up and undertaking risk assessments
* Materials management
* 2nd fix carpentry
* Transportation of materials from lockup to site

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role you will need to be an experienced carpenter as a large part of this role will be carrying out 2nd fix carpentry. You should be looking to take a step up into a management role in the long term and show a keen interest in construction. Preferably you will have gained experience in industry working on high spec projects with a keen eye for detail.
