They're looking for a Health and Safety Manager to be responsible for overall Health and Safety standards, whilst also working towards the continuous improvement of the relevant business policies and practise.

The Role

As a Health and Safety Manager you'll manage the Health and Safety of the whole facility including supervising employee wellbeing and productivity. In addition, you'll work with your colleagues in other facilities to drive forward companywide Health and Safety projects. You'll also strategise work systems around reducing Health and Safety risk whilst auditing arrangements for H&S management.

You

To succeed in this role of Health and Safety Manager you'll need to have experience of a similar, strategic, Health and Safety role and ideally have a NEBOSH Diploma and / or be a chartered member of a relevant body (CMIOSH for example). Any experience of Health and Safety within a distribution, logistics and warehousing environment would certainly hold you in good stead.
