A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, part time Support Worker who is creative, motivated, enthusiastic and energetic; with patience and compassion to work with our client on a one-to-one basis, within her own home in Wells, North Somerset. Our client is a young lady in her early 30s who has sustained an ABI. She is a creative individual who needs to be supported with patience and unconditional positive regard. This is a challenging but rewarding position and in return, we offer a full induction and ongoing training.

The Support Workers role will involve:

* Facilitating activities of daily living, including help with socialising, exercise and independent living skills
* Planning structure and routine within each day
* Working unsupervised while taking direction from the Team Leader and Management team

The successful Support Worker will have:

* Previous care experience
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Willing to undergo a DBS Check
* A resilient and robust personality, with a positive attitude and outlook on life
* Empathy, be understanding and non-judgemental
* Excellent communication skills

The hours of work are 24 per week, to include weekdays, weekends, night-time and bank holidays.

The hourly pay rate is £12 during weekdays and £14 at weekends.
