An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Brand Manager to join our team based in Halifax. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £16-20K per annum plus a generous staff discount scheme which allows the purchase of a wide range of footwear for adults and children for family and friends.

We require an enthusiastic, innovative and industrious Brand Manager to join a retailer of fine men's shoes to join our existing team in a busy, vibrant office environment. The Brand Manager will be responsible for:

* Being involved with range building and brand development
* Seasonal stock buying and monitoring of brand performance, ensuring continued growth and agreed on stock turnover
* Maintaining and monitoring website listings, blog articles and online marketing
* Assisting and advising our retail shop
* Ordering from our suppliers
* Regular communication with our customers via telephone, email and live internet chat

Buying often involves visiting shoe factories in Northamptonshire and it is expected to involve occasional travel to foreign factories in Spain and India.

The successful Brand Manager will have:

* Customer service experience, preferably within a retail environment
* Prior knowledge of the footwear industry is preferred but training will be provided
* An active interest in the fashion or clothing industry would be of benefit
* A good command of both spoken and written English

The hours of work will be 08:00-17:00 3 days per week and 08:00-16:00 two days per week. The days of work will be Monday-Friday.
