An excellent opportunity has arisen for a night shift LGV Class 1 C+E Barrel Driver to join our team on a permanent basis at our Fawley site.

We are the second largest LPG supplier in the UK and has over 30 years experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.

The LGV Class 1 C+E Barrel Drivers key responsibilities of the role will include:

* Carrying out daily vehicle checks as per company works instructions
* Re-fuelling of vehicle
* Loading the vehicle in the refinery in accordance with their site procedures
* Delivering to customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures
* Off-loading at sites which will involve some manual handling with the connecting and disconnecting of the delivery hoses in accordance with site operating instructions
* Long haul HGV driving
* Working at controlled DCD Sites
* Flexible in driving other types of vehicles as required (Rigids)
* Complying with road transport and tachograph regulations
* Meeting company driver performance standards

The successful LGV Class 2 C+E Barrel Driver will:

* Hold an LGV Class 1CE Licence
* Possess an ADR in Tank with minimum class 2 gases
* Have Driver CPC
* Possess sound knowledge of drivers hours and tachograph regulations
* Have experience driving articulated vehicles
* Ideally have a refinery pass but not essential
* Have articulated tank experience ideally
* Have a commitment to providing excellent customer service
* Be reliable, flexible, honest and trustworthy

The contracted hours are 45 per week based on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern. Applicants must be flexible as overtime will be required.
