The Senior Care Worker will be responsible for providing a consistent, timely, high quality visiting and worker and/or service user assessment service which meet the needs of the business.
The Senior Care Worker's role will involve:
* Monitoring and reviewing service delivery, carry out assessments to meet legislation and complete all appropriate paperwork for care planning and service user files
* Transferring all data collected to the branch IT system in a timely and professional manner
* Promoting growth within the business, by developing existing and potential areas of business, planning and developing new business opportunities and driving these forward
* Carrying out risk assessment and monitoring of workers and service users
* Visiting service users homes prior to commencement of service for introduction and assessment and assisting in the introduction of new staff to service users
* Visiting service users after 4 weeks of service to identify any changes to the care plan and the satisfactory delivery of service
* Ensuring care plans, risk assessments and other necessary documentation are in place and reviewed at regular intervals
The successful Senior Care Worker will have:
* A full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK with access to your own transport
* Previous experience of working in a hands-on operational role
* Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information
* Ability to influence attitudes and opinions of others and gain agreement
* A passionate and driven approach to providing excellent operational support and guidance
* Care work as and when required during discussed availability
This role would suit a Community Officer or Home Visiting Officer.
