An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 2 Cat C Cylinder Driver to join our team based at our Halstead Site. In return, we offer a competitive salary, premium payments for weekends, 33 days holiday pro rata and death in service benefit.

We are one of the largest LPG suppliers in the UK and has over 30 years experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.

The HGV Class 2 Cat C Cylinder Driver will be responsible for delivering Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in cylinders to domestic and commercial customers in and around the Halstead area.

The key responsibilities of the HGV Class 2 Cat C Cylinder Driver will include:

* Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures
* Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained
* Meet driver performance standards
* Ensure compliance with Drivers hours and Tachograph regulations
* Loading and unloading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures
* Make deliveries to customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures

The successful HGV Class 2 Cat C Cylinder Driver will:

* Hold a Cat C (HGV Class 2) Licence
* Possess an ADR in Packages with minimum Class 2 gasses (Tanks advantageous)
* Have a driver qualification card (DCPC)
* Be committed to provide excellent customer service
* Be reliable, flexible and hard working
* Be honest and trustworthy
* Have a safe driving record
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health & Safety
* Be willing to progress onto other driving disciplines with relevant experience & training i.e. Tankers

The hours of work are 45 per week. This will include some weekend working as part of a rostered shift pattern.

Price / Salary: £22230 per annum
