My Client in Uddingston urgently requires LGV2 drivers on a permanent basis. Key duties will include -

* Liaise with Operations Manager and Transport Manager to prioritise for sales order distribution
* Loading of vehicles
* Delivering products on time to customers satisfaction
* Inspect and maintain vehicle to company standard
* Obey traffic laws and regulations.
* Verify the contents of loads against shipping papers
* Maintain accurate records
* Collect correct payment from customers
* Turn in receipts and monies received from deliveries
* Report any mechanical faults found with vehicles
* Perform emergency repairs to vehicles
* Report any delays, accidents etc to Head Office
* Getting information-observing, receiving and otherwise obtaining information on customers, competitors etc
* Distribute company information to new and potential customers
* Any other tasks as seen fit by management

You will be delivering chilled and ambient goods to businesses throughout Scotland with the assistance of a drivers mate. Working week is Sunday to Friday, so you will be working 5 over 6 days. Start time is 0800. Must hold LGV2, CPC and digi card for a minimum of 1 years for clients insurance purposes.

Price / Salary: Based on 45 hour working week
