Due to continued growth and expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Supervisor to join our expanding site based in Perth. In return, we offer a competitive salary, overtime after 40 hours per week, 25 days holiday plus 8 days statutory and death in service benefit 4 x salary.

We are one of the largest LPG suppliers in the UK and has over 30 years experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a Liquefied Petroleum Gas bulk and Cylinder filling & distribution site, delivering safety and compliance, and effectively supervising all aspects relating to people, assets, processes and performance associated with the site. You will be responsible for overseeing yard based operations, maintaining stocks, organising the yard and supporting the team in the filling plant when required to meet Business Objectives. Included in the role is support of the day to day administrative tasks within the office, ensuring inputs are progressed accurately within the requisite time scales. Therefore, your day will be split equally between the Yard Based Operation and Office tasks.

The key responsibilities of the Site Supervisors role will include:

* Day to day administrative tasks within the office, ensuring inputs are progressed accurately within the requisite time scales
* Effectively supervising the site in accordance with business and legislative requirements
* Supporting safe management in accordance with the Safety Management system to meet compliance and driving a safety culture
* Adhering with transport compliance, including vehicle maintenance, drivers hours and tachograph regulations in addition to working time directive regulations
* Compliance of company processes and procedures relating to stocks, financial controls within the operating system (CODAS)
* Complying to operating procedures and work instructions
* Professional approach to drive effective team working
* Open and close the site and oversee yard operations in the absence of the Site Manager
* Act as emergency controller (after training)
* Handling of LPG cylinders
* Supervision of vehicle loading and bulk tanker operations
* Keep site stocks in line with business demands
* Filling cylinders to company standards & compliances
* Working closely with site foreman to ensure that all orders are completed in a timely fashion

The successful Site Supervisor will have:

* Experience of working in a high paced environment
* A full driving licence and a counterbalance fork lift truck licence would be desirable
* Ideally have knowledge of tanker loading operations and knowledge of the storage of dangerous goods regulations (desirable)
* Ability to work in a team or on own initiative, be honest and trustworthy
* A commitment to providing excellent customer service
* Good computer literacy
* A positive attitude towards safety and have had first Aid Training

The hours of work are 40 per week. Applicants must have a flexible approach and willingness to work additional hours, including some weekend working.
