Cooke Optics Ltd are the premium lens manufacturer in the cinematography industry. Following a period of rapid growth we are currently looking to recruit in a number of areas.

Role 1- Quality Control

· Optical Component Cleaning and checking

· Cosmetic Inspection to high industry standards

· Using a variety of measuring equipment and instrumentation

· Recording of collected data

· Prioritising work load, adapting to constantly changing production requirements

Role 2 - CNC Polishing & Grinding

· CNC machining of glass

· Using a variety of measuring equipment and instrumentation

· Potential to progress to a supervisory role.

Role 3 - Lens Assembly

· Building small delicate sub-assemblies

· Assembly experience is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.

Essential qualities:

· Practical aptitude and evidence of good hand skills

· Ability to work and adapt in a friendly team environment

· Good eyesight (corrected by glasses or contact lenses is not a problem)

· Good attention to detail

· Previous experience of working with small delicate components

The hours of work are as follows:

* Monday to Friday 37 hours, days, evenings or night shift.
