**We are looking to** recruit a female care assistant to support a female with a Spinal Injury to remain independent in her own home. Our client lives in a purpose built property in the beautiful surroundings of the Cropston area of Leicestershire.

The client is female and wishes for female only applicants due to her personal care requirements.

**The role is** to support the client in her own home and out in the community. You will be required to undertake duties such as assisting with personal care, Medication administration, food preparation, moving & handling, domestic tasks, therapy programmes, attending appointments and leisure & social activities and to support her with accessing the community. You will be required to undertake full cleaning tasks of the home, changing beds, cooking using an Arga. You are also required to care for her 2 dogs by administering their meds, bathing, walking etc.

The post may also require you to accompany the client on holiday if requested.

**They are looking for:** Female applicants only. Applicants must have a Full Clean UK Driving Licence to facilitate the use of the clients own vehicle. Must have own transport due to rural location of clients home. Some care experience essential; experience of supporting clients with Spinal Injury is desirable. You must be willing to undertake full cleaning of the home and taking care of the clients 2 dogs.

Our client does have a number of very friendly dogs that are a big part of her day to day life so the successful team must be confident around dogs.

**Hours: 20 hours per week - rota to be discussed at interview**

Applicants must be flexible to meet the needs of the client. Some times and days may vary to meet the clients requirements. Applicants will need to be available to cover other workers for annual leave and other absences.

Mon Fri - 07.00 20.00 (dial://07.00%E2%80%9320.00/) - £10.00, Sat & Sun 07.00 20.00 (dial://07.00%E2%80%9320.00/) - £10.50,
