An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join Westbourne Civil Engineering Ltd based in Manchester. In return, we offer a competitive salary and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Westbourne Civil Engineering Ltd are specialists in domestic groundwork's and road & sewers. We operate in the North West region with new office facilities in Worsley, Manchester. The business is 9 years old and has continued to grow from strength to strength through a difficult period in the construction industry.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the companys finances and the finance team.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
* Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
* Supervising staff
* Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
* Liaising with external accountants and auditors
* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Job costing
* Reconciliations

The successful applicant will:

* Be either ACCA or CIMA qualified
* Have experience as a Finance Manager
* Have knowledge of Sage Accounts
* Have experience of management accounts
* Be experienced in processing year end accounts

The hours of work are 08:00-17:00 Monday Friday however these hours are not set so may change.
