An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Knitter to join a highly successful sports sock manufacturer established since 1983 based in Narborough, Leicester.

Our successful 2-year training program has already seen several employees progress into competent sock Knitters and progress within our company.

Once qualified Knitters are responsible for running a set of 20 machines, including setting up the machines, pattern changing, quality control and production control.

To be successful you will:

* Have a good level of education and a willingness to learn new skills
* Live local and be able to travel to Narborough easily within the hours required
* Be a hands-on person
* Be reliable and a team player

Whilst training the hours of work are MondayThursday 07:3016:30 with half an hour lunch and Friday 07:3013:00, with overtime occasionally offered.

Once training is completed, the role will enter into our 48 hour per week shift pattern of either 06:00-18:00 or 18:0006:00 MondayThursday.
