An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Practitioner to join a very busy and popular nursery based in Mapperley, Nottingham. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £16185 per annum plus 28 days holiday including bank holidays and NEST pension scheme.

The safety and well-being of children in our care is always our top priority. Our aim is to provide quality early years education through fun, playful activities following the early years foundation stage curriculum.

The Early Years Practitioner will be responsible for caring and supporting the childrens development.

Duties will include:

* To care for and keep children safe
* Offering very good play opportunities/activities to support childrens learning
* To effectively deliver the EYFS curriculum
* To keep up to date records for key children and share with parents

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

* A minimum Level 3 /NNEB qualification
* A good understanding of child development
* At least 3 years experience as a trained practitioner
* Experience of working as part of a team
* Very good communication skills with children and adults
* Very high standards and expectations
* The necessary skills to offer exceptional learning opportunities for all children

The nursery is open all year round with the exception of 1 week at Christmas. The hours of work will be between 07:30-18:00, Monday to Friday.
